Take a REAL look at what they are saying before doing anything. Maybe you are being overly protective or maybe not protective enough. You haven’t mentioned the age of your daughter so that makes it a little more difficult but regardless, if you feel you are truly in the right, take your husband aside and remind him that he married you, not your mom, and you’d appreciate his support with the parenting of HIS daughter. But do it in a way that does not put him on the defensive because you will absolutely get no where with it.
