This mom runs on coffee wine and amazon prime shirt! That would ruin the story! The whole point is that the gifts that love to everyone she comes in contact with. What if we were all like Lily and didn’t save that kind of authentic connection for the few people we’ve deemed special? Wouldn’t that be an amazing world? It was sad to see her decline so fast, but it was a blessing to her and to us when she passed away. She didn’t have to be confused anymore. I still miss her after all of these years. That is wonderful and heart touching story. What’s strange is how does her mother remember sign language but couldn’t remember her daughter.
