The other way to change the demand is via governance. This is one of the big reasons we don’t see big V12 engines anymore…. governance means they’re taxed to the hilt, and consumer demand is low owing to the high cost of running them… so now, small turbocharged power units are sort after by the consumer because they’re cheap to run, cheap to tax, and overall very efficient. A good example of capitalism and regulation working hand in hand for good. You mean try communism and starve our citizens to death?
