There’s a weird phenomenon that occurs if you do this I may be a mom now but if salt n pepa comes on the radio shirt: most people end up liking you quite a bit. It can almost be off-putting because you have an agenda; you’re purposely trying to get a better grasp on what makes them tick. If they gush to someone about what a good listener or conversationalist you are, you’re doing this right. Sometimes the praise is non-specific, like he’s a really nice guy. They like you, essentially, because they like themselves they’re projecting. It’s all part of the process of living your life my dear.
