I make it a point to say one kind thing, I’m not the killer man I’m the killer man’s son but I’ll do the killing shirt. This is not how I was brought up, I had a mother who was always critical, but it is how I choose to be. Loving and kind. It has gotten easier as I have gotten older. My benediction to my girls every day as we get to school is to “Practice kindness, self-love, positive self talk and gratitude.” I have found that this mantra has been a game changer, but more for me than anything! We must practice kindness to teach kindness!
