My mom was brought into emergency one night in 2006, because she Frankly my dear I don’t give a damn shirt and unable to recognize her surroundings inside the house. The emergency doctor put her on IV overnight and by morning, she was much better. She seemed alert and was able to have normal conversations with us. We all assumed she was simply dehydrated. As a precaution and procedure, the doctor ordered a few blood tests and scans of her abdomen, to rule out any other problems. They came back with some concerns that there was a shadow on her liver. They wanted to do more diagnostics. It could be cirrhosis liver scarring.
