While many things can be done in post, I’d concur with the Best Ew people shirt, so post production can be done with maximum results. Often that process will be some fine tuning of what you already had in mind when doing the shoot. Of course you will be shooting in Raw formats when you are shooting digital. So a technical understanding of what Raw really means is essential to grasp what can be done in post. If the quality of photos is already in the Raw file, software such as Adobe Lightroom might be sufficient to tweak your final image.
