I remember something like that happened with Colton Dixon several years ago. He originally wasn’t going to audition again when he went to support his sister, and they both made it to Hollywood. I’d tell them to take that ticket and shove it, honestly. He found his confidence without them. The people who don’t win American Idol can make something for themselves.
