My Cedar Lake Nursing Home family lost a real treasure this week when Matt Stuart left us to move Let’s just add a happy big wall shirt. Our food will stay as good, and the changes he made, like the salad bar and soup kettle and days when we serve meat smoked on a real smoker, will still be here. But I am not sure we can replace all the fun he has brought us on a daily basis. We will miss him a lot. Matt came to us 23 years old, straight out of Dietary Supervisor school. He brought us new recipes, new ideas and a lot of pizzazz. He did his real job and still found a lot of time to liven up activities.
