Jack Skellington with Americans flag shirt. Never had a problem with “Burnout”. Anyways, am Retired now but my issue during my working years was Anxiety! That was my “Achilles Heel”. The constant apprehension of wondering if I was being “Sized Up” as fitting in with my position even with the knowledge I was being efficient. From one day to the next? A person could go from one being lavished with praise….to becoming the scapegoat. This is what the Koch brothers want. Slave labor. If Americans were paid what they should be including medical insurance and given benefits like paid sick and maternity leave then perhaps we wouldn’t be so horribly depressed at work. I removed every single personal item from my office. It helped me put some emotional distance between my personal and professional lives. In better times some items eventually made their way back.
